Custom Theme Music

From sketch to finish. Every detail matters.

Your character has worlds, stories, emotions, hopes, and lore all wrapped up within them. Their music should reflect that too. My tagline is ‘the melody to your world’ as I immerse myself fully into your character’s life. It’s how I can truly create a theme which is unique to them.

My background

Classically trained with a grade 8 in music theory with the ABRSM, and worked with hundreds of clients in a career that has spanned a decade. Creating melodies is what I do best.

How it works

It all starts with a info folder of your character containing lore, video game (where applicable), fan art, fanfic, playlists, and anything else you have of your oc. We then both make ‘reference track’ playlists, exchange them, and from there we decide on what emotions/lore we want to portray into the music. I then take 4-12 weeks to create the music, where every instrument choice and note reflects a part of your character. I usually work from a score first, so you can see the harmony and melody in full detail. Depending on the character, this may convert into using non-orchestral instruments or even skip the score stage altogether.

Deliverables

A theme song lasting up to one minute long, with the sheet music as standard (unless your character theme goes into atonal, avant-garde territory, where a traditional score wouldn’t suffice).

Cost

My rate is £200 which reflects the hours, skill, and love for the craft that goes into every piece of music I create

Terms and conditions

The music is for non-commercial use. Payment is upfront and paid via bank transfer (if in the UK) or PayPal (international). I don’t generally do refunds as you’re paying for my time and expertise, with the exception being if I fail to create a finished piece of music.

Portfolio

oc: Celestaux

  • Celestaux’s theme had the brief of combining his farming upbringing with the bittersweet lilting hope that surrounds his adult life. Something that remains upbeat with a hint of sadness about it.

oc: Zuzu

  • Zuzu’s theme is split into two sections. Section A represents Zuzu’s mischievous side, full of percussion and woodwind, with an almost cartoon feel.
  • Section B on the other hand represents Zuzu being attuned to nature. Sweeping strings and full lush chords give complete the look.
